ICYMI: It was another banner week for Mike Minogue’s campaign for governor.

Mike Kennealy Endorses Minogue

Former GOP Primary rival Mike Kennealy announced he was formally endorsing Mike Minogue for Governor this week - praising Minogue’s record as an accomplished businessman who can reverse the failed policies of Maura Healey and Mass Democrats.

Kennealy said: “Massachusetts is heading in the wrong direction and is last in the nation in job growth. As a proven job creator, Mike has the experience to get the state back on track and I applaud Mike’s commitment to serving others through his work in education and health care and his support for veterans. Mike is by far the best candidate of the two Republicans running for governor.”

The Kennealy endorsement is another blow for the rudderless campaign of Brian Shortsleeve, whose campaign is struggling to gain any traction.

Suffolk University Poll: Minogue Leads by 30+

Further proof of Shortsleeve’s dismal campaign is a new Suffolk University / Boston Globe poll that shows Minogue leading Shortsleeve by more than 30 points!

Shortsleeve, who has claimed for weeks that the 15% support he got at the MASS GOP Convention understated his support with Republican voters at-large, performed even worse among Republicans across Massachusetts, trailing Minogue 45-13.

So, why won’t Shortsleeve drop out?

Shortsleeve: The Democrat Plant?

A recent mailer that arrived at the homes of MASS Republicans last week poses an important question: Is Brian Shortsleeve really just a Democrat Plant, in the race to help Maura Healey and his insider buddies on Beacon Hill?

The mailer, paid for by our PAC, detailed Shortsleeve’s massive campaign contributions to Democrats across the commonwealth, including a far-left PAC that endorsed Maura Healey and Michelle Wu. We’d say Brian Shortsleeve has some explaining to do.
